The Blairgowrie Primary School’s U10A soccer team recently won the District 10 Johannesburg North League Championships.
The team managed to turn up the heat to complete the six-week long soccer season unbeaten.
The primary schools that took part in the league were Craighall Primary School, Delta Park School, Cliffview Primary School, Sparrows Primary School, Parkview Senior Primary School, and Orban Private school. Coach Keith Bolttler is proud of his team’s achievement.”I have been coaching for so many years, and I am just proud that the U10 [team] have managed to push for victory,” said Bolttler.
“They are a dedicated bunch of kids and there was great team work and structure,” he said. Bolttler concluded that they will be looking forward to defending the title next year.
