NORTHGATE – The good, the great and the tasty – all at the Good Food and Wine show 2015.
Local chefs, food experts and all lovers of the good things in life came together at the Good Food and Wine Show at the TicketPro Dome from 23–26 July.
Local chefs showcased their brilliant skills at the Celebrity Chef Theatre.
Excited fans flocked into the expo to browse around the food stalls and get opportunities to taste sample recipes.
From amazing tasters of vinegars, breads, meats and different types of food cuisine, no one was left disappointed.
The well.i.am Kitchen provided health enthusiasts with great tips on a healthy lifestyle, presented by fitness expert Lisa Raleigh.
Also, some couples got the chance to cook in the kitchen together with Jenny Morris.
Benny Masekwameng, who is one of the Masterchef South Africa judges, cooked up a feast at the Tastic stand.
He invited audience members up to the station to try their hand at some cooking.
Guests were able to try food from all over the world such as Spain, Italy, parts of Africa and even Asia.
As always, the wine walk was packed with thirsty glasses to sample incredible local wine, craft beer and liqueurs.
Recipe book signings by famous chefs added a personal touch to grace all the fans.
This year’s show really brought out some marvelous sites for ‘foodies’ to drool over.
