Seeff salutes SOS Protect team on Mandela Day
RANDPARK RIDGE – Hard work and dedication from the SOS security team was rewarded on Mandela Day by Seeff property agents.
Seeff Randburg visited the Randpark Ridge SOS Protect security team, in order to show their gratitude and appreciation for their selfless dedication to the safety of the Randburg community.
Anél Venter, a Seeff agent in Randpark Ridge who met with the team and treated them to a special Mandela Day celebration cake, chocolates and coca-colas, said people often forget how challenging it is to be part of a Neigbourhood Watch.
Venter explained, “The SOS security team works very long hours often for little or no appreciation, they place themselves in potentially dangerous situations and they also have to operate in bad weather conditions like extreme cold. It is truly a selfless job and these individuals go out of their way to bring peace of mind to the rest of the community. Without them, we would have a much higher crime rate.”
Venter concluded by saying that this gesture from Seeff created big smiles and the team was extremely appreciative.
“It was heart-warming to see how much a small gesture like this meant to them. As a community we don’t need an occasion or a reason to thank people in the community who better our lives, but in the spirit of Madiba Day this was truly special,” concluded Venter.
