BREAKING NEWS: Truck overturns on Beyers Naudé Drive

A large truck overturned during an accident on Beyers Naudé Drive, Fairland, near the N1 Highway in the afternoon of 23 July.

City of johannesburg Emergency Management Services (EMS) personnel assess the damage.

A City of Johannesburg Emergency Management Services (EMS) fire engine was on scene, as well as ambulances from private emergency services companies.

Metro Police spokesperson Chief Superintendent Wayne Minnaar said that he was not aware of the accident but would soon provide details of the accident to the media.

It is not yet known if anyone was injured.
