Linden rape case postponed

KENSINGTON B – Policeman's rape case is at the mercy of the DPP.

The rape case involving a Linden SAPS member and a female detainee has been postponed.

The Linden SAPS member allegedly raped a female detainee on 28 June (See previous story).

The SAPS member was granted bail of R10 000 on 9 July (See previous story).

The case continued on 15 July and has been postponed until 19 August for instructions from the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP).
