A video of CCTV footage has surfaced, showing the armed robbery that occurred at a Tana Road residence in Linden on 20 June.
Dutch home-owner Hans Somsen and his wife Riana had a large group of friends over to celebrate the recent sale of Somsen’s business, and to spend some time together before the Somsen family sold their house and moved back to the Netherlands.
Somsen can be heard in the video explaining how the robbers forced their way into his property, and then exited only minutes later, having robbed all his guests of their cellphones, jewellery and watches.
A case has been opened with the Linden police station.
