Northgate warms up the cold

NORTHGATE – Northgate Shopping Centre welcomes family values and supports local charities.

Every being needs to be warm and with the help from Northgate Shopping Centre and their shoppers this may come true.

Northgate Shopping Centre has launched their first blanket drive. The centre has posted four trolleys throughout the centre. Each and every blanket that is collected is distributed to local charities.

The two charities that have been selected are the Lighthouse Baby Shelter and the Randburg SPCA, both located in North Riding. “I truly want to help my community and by choosing nearby charities, I hope this is clear. Our first priority at our centre is the concept of ‘where families meet’ and we want to extend our family to those in need around us,” said Northgate Shopping Centre General Manager Gene Uys.

“I feel having these trolleys throughout the centre that we can help our animals and babies in our local community,” added marketing manager Natalie Berkhout.
