UPDATE: Pedestrian knocked down on Rabie

MORET – On the female pedestrian who was knocked down on Rabie Street.

UPDATE:

A female pedestrian was knocked over in traffic on 5 June on Rabie Street in Moret at 7.02am.

The extent of her injuries was previously unknown. The paramedics on scene have now said “Upon assessment of the pedestrian paramedics found that the woman had sustained minor to moderate injuries,” said Netcare 911 Media Liaison Officer, Santi Steinmann.

The woman is believed to be in her 40s. It is believed that she was knocked down by a motor vehicle. Reports from the scene according to Netcare 911 say the motor vehicle was in the process of turning when she was struck down.

The woman has been transported to hospital. The exact cause of the accident and other proceedings will be subject to police investigation.
