Man dies after crash
RANDBURG – A man lost his life after a tragic accident at Boundary Road this morning.
A man died and two men were injured following an accident on Boundary Road near Malibongwe Road in North Riding, on 11 May.
Netcare 911 paramedics, its rescue unit and other services arrived at the scene and found that a minibus left the roadway and crashed against a wall on the side of the road.
According to Netcare 911 media liaison officer Santi Steinmann, “Upon assessment of the occupants, paramedics found that the driver of the vehicle were partially ejected from the vehicle and tragically lost his life during the crash.”
“Two male occupants sustained serious injuries during the crash. After receiving treatment at the scene, the two injured men were transported to hospital for further medical care.
No other vehicles were involved in the accident,” said Steinmann.
Exact detail surrounding the cause of the crash and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
