NORTH RIDING – Mothers were treated to a warm breakfast event at Trinityhouse North Riding Pre-Primary on 8 May.

Mothers of pupils of Trinityhouse North Riding Pre-Primary were treated with a special breakfast picnic in celebration of Mother’s Day at school on 8 May.

Moms shared an interactive and exciting morning with their precious children in their respective classrooms.

The breakfast was organised and hosted by Lana Meintjes, head teacher and her staff.

The day was spectacular and the parents enjoyed fun activities with their children.

The celebration started with a prayers in different classrooms followed by a few entertaining performances from school children, including singing.

Moms were also asked to take part in some craft making on the day.

School children sang and danced for their parents and some mothers shed a tear or two.

Teacher Gisela André of Grade 0 encouraged mothers to network during the picnic time.

“Moms, this is also a great time for you to share contacts, so you can plan play dates for your little ones. Thank you so much Moms, for taking this time to spend with us at school and let your children show you how much they love you,” said Grade 0 teacher Gisela André.
