FIRST 6 PEOPLE WIN restaurant vouchers to Murphy’s Law

Randburg Sun has six Zomato vouchers to Murphy’s Law Bar in North Riding and Grill worth R100 to give away to 6 lucky readers.

Online restaurant search and discovery app, Zomato is celebrating the announcement a new global partnership with cab service smartphone app, Uber.

With the aim of providing an enhanced experience to diners, Zomato users can now book a cab to any of the restaurants listed on the app.

Once a user has found a place to dine or have drinks at using the Zomato app, a single tap on the Uber button on the restaurant page will allow them to find the nearest Uber.

In addition to seeing the estimated fare and how long it will take for the Uber to arrive, one will also be able to choose the Uber service that best suits one’s need.

Although the feature had already been made available to Zomato users in South Africa and London, as of 23 April, all Zomato users globally, in the 24 cities across 13 countries, would now also be able to use the feature.

Heino Gehle, country manager for Zomato SA said, “As Zomato, we are always looking for better ways to improve our customer’s food experiences. With the whole experience at your fingertips, everything is so convenient, from deciding where to eat to getting there.”

He added, “We have been testing Uber on the Zomato platform in South Africa and the UK with great success and are looking forward to being part of the global partnership.”

In South Africa, the feature will be available in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban and Cape Town.
