GALLERY: Monte brings the beach to Jozi

Montecasino was a place to be for people who are crazy about the beach.

The Zulu Kingdom Easter Beach Festival was held on 3-6 April, to provide entertainment during the school holidays and long weekend.

They created a tropical beach background with sand, umbrellas and all things relevant to the beach theme.

Children had fun playing building sand castles, while some were treasure hunting, and others enjoyed hoola hoop competitions.

As the theme fitted the holiday spirit, adults were not left behind.

They unwind and had tropical cocktails while experiencing a taste of Kwazulu-Natal Midlands, in the Midlands Meander Picnic area.

At night they held a beach party at the Outdoor Piazza, which was transformed into Calypso playground.

Marimba music, fire dancers were part of the entertainment line-up that was offered.

The Zulu Kingdom was aimed at helping people who could not go to Durban, Port Elizabeth or Cape Town, during the Easter weekend.
