Our community needs donations

BLOUBOSRAND - Bloubosrand community leader appeals to the community for donations.

Klarika Nettleton [Nomsa]- Founder of Bloubosrand Community Forum, Bloubosrand Animal Welfare Group writes:

Dear Residents and Friends – I just wish to inform all that I had another crucial meeting with a senior official at the highest Office

of Johannesburg – the Office of the Executive Mayor – on 18 March.

I actually went in without having an appointment.

The meeting was very cordial and lasted over 2 hours.

The solution to all our complex issues and to restore our region lies in engaging all appropriate stakeholders to sit around the table and to remove all blockages as advised by Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa last February.

To my understanding, this is the one and only way forward and it must happen now.

The international Golf Trainer and his generous sponsor are still there to install the Int. Golf Academy on the closed Kya Sand Landfill

Site. He is just not prepared to make any more trips to various Council Offices – but he will attend the round table meeting. It should not be too

difficult to resolve all issues in a practical and humane manner. We are not asking for anything impossible or unreasonable.

We have gone through difficult times before and made it! In conclusion we are asking for all goods necessary to help animals in need, incl. Tick/Flea dip. We work in 3 Informal Settlements and Cosmo RDP. We always need help. Gifts for kids and adults are welcome.
