Linden SAPS acknowledged for outstanding service

LINDEN – Linden Community Policing Forum and Cresta Darrenwood Ratepayer's Association commends Linden SAPS.

At the annual general meeting held at the Linden SAPS community hall on 4 March, the Linden Community Policing Forum (CPF) and Cresta Darrenwood Ratepayer’s Association (CDRA) awarded the Linden SAPS for outstanding service in 2014. Linden SAPS achieved a score of 97 per cent for the criteria below.This was calculated from the 46 interactions between Linden SAPS and the CDRA in 2014.

The average response time for the sector vehicle was between six and 10 minutes.

SAPS Linden score according to the CDRA for 2014:

• CPF meetings and engagement: 95 per cent

• Response time: 96 per cent

• Dealing and processing of thefts and housebreakings: 95 per cent

• Community assistance and guidance:100 per cent

• Feedback and engagement on queries:100 per cent

The CDRA expressed their gratitude and thanked the Linden SAPS for their guidance, support and outstanding service to the community.

A member of the CDRA and CPF Lara Bath said, ”The station is really focused on the community and we are extremely grateful.”
