Two men were knocked down by a motor vehicle on Braam Street, Honeydew at about 11am on Friday 6 March.
Driver of the vehicle Tebogo Koki said, “I was driving around the bend and the two men were running toward the Spar – for work maybe. I couldn’t see them and I hit them in the middle of the road.”
Netcare 911 was called to the scene. Bronwyn Gopper, a paramedic commented, “The two patients are critical. They have sustained injuries to the head, abdomen and a fractured leg.”
The two men will be rushed to a nearby government hospital.
