BREAKING NEWS: Wall collapses and injures eight at Summerfield Mall
RANDBURG- Eight people were taken to different hospitals after being injured when a wall collapsed at Summerfield Shopping Mall in Boskruin, on 28 February.
Eight people were injured after a wall collapsed at the Summerfield Shopping Mall in Boskruin, on 28 February.
According to Netcare 911 spokesperson Santi Steinman, “Six of the men are seriously injured. Two men sustained moderate injuries.”
The eight men are believed to be workers, who were injured after the construction wall collapsed on to the scaffolding.
They were taken to various hospitals.
At this stage, the cause of the incident is still not clear.
Centre’s management refused entry to the press and ordered them to leave immediately.
