Most of Joburg should prepare as Eskom announces that it will implement Stage 2 load shedding on 5 February following transformer problems that occurred at the Koeberg Nuclear Power Station on 3 February.
“Residents can expect outages between 8am and 10pm tonight,” warns Eskom spokesperson Khulu Phasiwe,
“We are currently finishing off maintenance and repair work at the Koeberg Station and it should be online again at the end of today.
“Residents and business owners can visit the load shedding schedule on the Eskom website to be kept up to date with load shedding developments,” concluded Phasiwe.
