Rand Park Ridge High remembers Simba Mhere

RANDPARK RIDGE – Get to know the ‘high school’ Simba Mehre.

Rand Park High School remembers the kind of pupil Simba Mhere was.

According to Heather Robinson, marketing, public relations and communications officer, even though Mhere had a very busy schedule as a Top Billing presenter, he regularly phoned the school to find out whether they needed assistance with any of their events or annual activities.

In 2014, he was one of the judges on the Mr and Miss Rand Park judging panel and made a big contribution to the success of the event.

He was an outstanding athlete and in the A-team; he also provided assistance with coaching sessions for their athletes in previous years.

His sister Valerie also attended the same school and matriculated at 2012.

Principal Alan Wilke extended his deepest condolences to Mehre’s family.

The Rand Park High family will miss his involvement in their school, as well as his humility, warm personality, kind spirit and zest for life.

The memorial service will be held on 5 February at the Rhema Bible Church in Randpark Ridge at 3pm.

His funeral service will start at 9am at the Rhema Church on 7 February.
