Johannesburg Water, the City’s water and sanitation service provider would like to inform residents about a planned water disruption that will affect the areas listed below within their system from 2pm on 7 February till 8 February at 3pm. The water interruption is said to happen so to allow Rand Water to do maintenance at the Eikenhof pump station.
The water supply disruption is expected to last 25 hours. It is said that Rand Water will continue to supply water into the system at a reduced capacity and as a result there might be poor pressures and no water supply experienced in some of the areas during this service interruption.
There will be tanks provided/ filled at the hospitals and other strategic points of areas that will be affected.
