The Honeydew SAPS emergency protocol

HONEYDEW – Honeydew Police ask that you call their 24-hour operational room in an emergency, says spokesperson Warrant Officer Karen Jacobs.

The Honeydew Police Station protocol in an emergency is an important one to take note of.

Spokesperson Warrant Officer Karen Jacobs advises that the station has its own 24-hour operational room.

“You will not be put through at switchboard. When you call, you will be put straight through to our 24-hour operational room,” she says.

WO Jacobs explains that sometimes the reception is not good, and “therefore we prefer that in an emergency situation – instead of calling the sector vehicles first – you should try our operational room that will take down complaints and then despatch the different SAPS vehicles.”

Honeydew SAPS Operational Room: 011 801 8613/4/5
