Three women were treated for drug overdose

RANDBURG – Three women were treated by ER24 paramedics after they allegedly, used illegal substances on 18 December.

Three women received medical treatment for an alleged drug overdose at a mall entrance in Bram Fischer Drive and Dover Street on 18 December.

According to ER24 paramedics, they treated three women around 3.45pm, after receiving a call for help.

Werner Vermaak spokesperson for ER24 explains, “We treated three ladies at the entrance of the mall, the two women were responsive but unable to accurately confirm what the illegal substance was.”

Vermaak states that one of the women allegedly said, “It was either Kat or Heroine,” he further adds, “this cannot be confirmed as no blood tests have been completed at this time.”

The women were taken to Helen Joseph Hospital for further medical treatment.
