David Potter’s Christmas wishlist

RANDBURG – Ward 102 councillor David Potter says that his one granted wish was for the Randburg Fire Station to be upgraded.

Ward 102 councillor David Potter reveals his Christmas wishes below:

  • Christmas Wish answered: The Randburg Fire station has been upgraded thanks to MultiChoice (see previous article).

Wishes I have:

  • For the City to expedite the upgrade of the Randburg Civic precinct. This has been a long outstanding item that just doesn’t get addressed
  • For the City to expedite the upgrade of the Conrad Drive bridge! (see previous article)
  • For basic service delivery to happen without a fight. A lot of service delivery the Councillor has to get involved in and escalate numerous times for things to get done. This should not be the case.
  • For every resident to have the Look and Log guide (see here) on the fridge so they know how to log issues with the City of Joburg, because everyone must take responsibility for their street, suburb and city.
  • For City officials to be responsive to residents when they address complaints to the City

Potter is responsible for Blairgowrie, Bordeaux, Ferndale Ext 3 and 5, Fontainebleau Ext 1, Moret, President Ridge, Randburg CBD, Ruiterhof, Lyme

Park, Willowild Ext 1 and 2, and Solridge.
