Kloofzicht celebrates a decade of pampering

MULDERSDRIFT — The Kloofzicht Lodge and Spa give away luxurious vouchers during their 10th birthday celebrations.

The Kloofzicht Lodge and Spa recently celebrated 10 years since opening the doors of luxurious stays and venues.

On 1 December, celebrities and personalities gathered at the lodge in Muldersdrift for a one of a kind birthday celebration that included several giveaways and prizes.

A decade of providing accommodation and rejuvenating spa treatments certainly does not seem like an easy feat, but Managing Director of Guvon Hotels and Spas Kosie Pansegrouw chirped, “Fourteen years ago I had a vision to establish an exclusive 5-Star lodge, creating an experience similar to one in the Dullstroom area, combining fly fishing with a typical Bushveld feel.” He continued, “It took four years to get approval – but once we had the go-ahead it only took 10 months to build and furnish the first phase of Kloofzicht Lodge. By popular demand, the next two phases were completed within five years after opening, which included Kloofzicht Spa.”

During the celebrations, a R10 000 cheque was presented to Radio Jacaranda’s Good Morning Angels Christmas fund. The cheque was in recognition of the work the fund has done in the past nine years and, more importantly, during the festive season.

General Manager, Mano Sequiera said,“We have been very blessed to provide luxury accommodation and pleasant stays to guests for 10 years and thought it would be appropriate to plough back some goodness and are happy to hand over a cheque of R10 000 to Radio Jacaranda’s Good Morning Angels fund. They have been doing some sterling work and we would like to support their effort.”

Staying with the spirit of giving, the lodge announced amazing promotional deals that are guaranteed to make this a merry Christmas.

Guests were treated to fun games and competitions, including one where they had to match the current employees to pictures of their 10-year-old selves. A time capsule was also buried on the grounds with a glimpse of the past 10 years, that little treasure will be opened in the next decade, when the lodge celebrates its 20th birthday.
