Steve Hofmeyr loses to foul-mouthed puppet

KENSINGTON B – Afrikaans singer Steve Hofmeyr will now bear the brunt of puppet Chester Missing’s derogatory tweets on Twitter.

This after the court order to prevent ventriloquist and comedian Conrad Koch using his puppet’s twitter account to harass Hofmeyr was set aside at the Randburg Magistrates’ Court on 27 November.

Koch and his puppet were in court opposing a protection order Steve Hofmeyr served against them on 05 November.

After a long day of arguments by lawyers on both sides, magistrate Naren Sewarain said that the court was not satisfied that the protection order should be maintained.

The reasons for which he would not immediately disclose.

Also, Hofmeyr and his legal representation, Dan roodt, were ordered to pay the costs of council for koch.
