Two days to go: Grow your Mo and win with Hirsch’s Strubens Valley

STRUBENS VALLEY – Movember ambassador Hirsch's wants you to win with your Mo.

Have you taken up the challenge from your friends to grow a Mo for Movember?

At this stage the stubble has probably started looking more like a proper moustache and you are considering shaving it all off.

But wait… Before you reach for that razor, think about this – your Mo can make you famous and put you in line to win big with Hirsch’s Homestore in Strubens Valley.

As a Movemeber ambassador, Hirsch’s has partnered with Caxton North West to host a competition where you can enter your moustache and win.

The criteria is simple, as long as you started growing your moustache or beard on 1 November you are eligible to enter. Submit a head and shoulders photograph of your Mo, your name and surname, contact number and suburb to sammib@caxton.co.za by 28 November 2014.

The most impressive moustache will win a R750 Hirsch’s voucher and second prize is a R500 voucher.

More about Movember

Movember, the annual moustache growing campaign that takes place in November acts as a reminder for men everywhere to stop and reflect on their health and their lifestyles.

As Mo Bros groom their way through the 30 days of Movember, they effectively become walking-talking billboards for men’s health issues, driving conversation, and in turn awareness, while securing donations or sponsorship for their moustaches through their grooming efforts and fine moustachery.

Women are reminded that Movember is not only for their hairier halves – Mo Sistas play an important role in acting as catalysts, encouraging the men in their lives to sign up, rallying the men in the office into teams, while pledging their support and opening dialogue around men’s health issues.

“This year’s Made in Movember theme is inspired by the global trend of proudly supporting locally grown and manufactured products,” said Garron Gsell, Country Manager of Movember South Africa.
