ADT stops three burglars in Malanshof
MALANSHOF - Neighbour's vigilance and reaction officer's speedy action saves the day.
Three suspects were caught red-handed on a property in Hans Schoeman Street, Malanshof, after a vigilant neighbour called ADT.
The suspects gained entrance to the property after allegedly derailing the main gate of the property on 20 November.
The neighbour heard noises and when he investigated saw the three suspects in the property next door. He immediately phoned ADT.
ADT Reaction Officer Nkhakhiseni Lambani arrived at the property and caught all three suspects while they were still on the property.
He recovered all the stolen goods and the suspects were handed over to Linden Police.
Clive Humphrey, managing director of ADT Central Region, commended Lambini for his outstanding work.
He also applauded the quick-thinking neighbour who had alerted ADT.
“This incident points out once again how important it is to know your neighbours. A good neighbour adds an extra layer of security to your home and property,” said Humphrey
