Uniting Africa in contentment

The African Gala evening was hosted at the News Cafe at Northview shopping centre in North Riding on 22 November.

The event was geared at uniting the Africans in the spirit of contentment.

This was through the performance of art, music, song, poetry and speech.

Each of the representing regions had five minutes to showcase their talent and embrace the culture of their continents.

Ghana, Benin Republic, Nigeria, South Africa, Democratic Republic of Congo and Gabon were there to delight the audience.

Eternal Mbamara who hosted the event enjoyed celebrating his birthday with fellow Africans in the hope of uniting the global African community.
