Photo and Film Expo 2014 captures visitors

NORTH RIDING – Photo and film expo delights crowds with talks and products for a variety of photography and film industries.

Photography and film enthusiasts shot to the Coca-Cola Dome for the Photo and Film Expo from 30 October to 2 November 2014.

The expo was aimed at enthusiasts – whether professional or amateur to learn and network. It is the biggest gathering of photography products and

talk on the African continent. The four days of fun consisted of free workshops, incredible new releases, over a million rand worth of giveaways,

prizes and special deals and the widest range of photographic gadgets.

Presentations ranged mainly from film and photography in genres such as challenges of shooting wildlife, studio setups, fashion, boudoir

and aviation. A talk hosted by renowned aviation photographer Mark Mansfield titled The Sky’s the Limit intrigued listeners by discussing the difficulties and tips of aviation photography. The Sky’s the Limit focused on themes such as backgrounds, motion, shutter speed, and safety.

All in all the expo was a huge success with visitors and exhibitors enjoying the exposure and focus on the industry they know and love.
