Three suspects steal fireams, cellphones and laptops

MONTROUX- Three suspects stole two firearms, six cellphones and two laptops and drove away in white Toyota Yaris in Alberge Road, off Beyers Naudé Drive on 30 October.

Linden Police are looking for three unknown black males who are suspected of housebreaking and robbery in Alberge Road, off Beyers Naudé Drive on 30 October.

According to Captain Alex Vermaak, the suspects went into the house and ordered people to lie down and tied them up.

“The suspects went straight to the safe and took out two firearms and they went to another safe looking for cash but did not find any money. They took six cellphones, two laptops and the two firearms. They left in white Toyota Yaris.”

Vermaak says it is not clear how the suspects, who allegedly wore baraclavas, got inside the house because the “electric gate was locked before they came in and it was not damaged.”

He added that the gardener has been taken in for questioning.

No one was injured during the robbery and so far there are no leads.

Police are investigating.
