Global Academy Home School Support Centre invites the public to an Open Day on 11 October, at The Fellowship Church.

The school caters for Grade 3 to 12 and those who want to finish their matric.

According to the schools’ statement, “With Grade 3 to 9 we are doing the national curriculum, and with Grade 10 to 12, the international GED qualification that is accepted in South Africa as an equivalent matric qualification.”

For those who intend to go to university, they do Sats, which is accepted at most universities in conjunction with the GED as a university acceptance qualification.

This is a home-schooling centre which seeks to help students who battle in bigger groups or classes.

They provide smaller and more intimate classes with individual attention and tutoring.

“Our loving and enthusiastic facilitators understand the challenges and rewards of being home schooled and have a passion for empowering each student to reach their full potential,”continues the statement.

Global Academy recognises that each student has a different learning style and strives to meet each student at their point of need.

They provide a safe, relaxed and flexible environment which makes life much easier for children and their parents.
