Delta Environmental Centre (DEC) will hosts its annual Energy Conversations Expo on 1 October.
The expo will cater for schools from all over Johannesburg that have taken energy-saving campaigns and successfully implemented their projects.
Schools will showcase their projects and they will be judged by a panel of experts.
DEC is a non-profit organisation that aims, through innovative education and training programmes and consultation, to enable people to improve the quality of their environment by promoting the sustainable use of all resources.
They launched the Energy Dialogues programme, now known as the Energy Conversations Programme in 2010 with funding from Shell SA Marketing.
The programme consists of four main initiatives which are to promote basic education, re-orient and revise education programmes, develop public understanding and awareness and to provide practical training.
