‘I am music’ showcase at Trinityhouse

RANDPARK RIDGE – Trinityhouse Preparatory show cases the symphonic stars of the future.

The sweet sound of music filled the hall of Trinityhouse Preparatory in Randpark Ridge recently as  diversity of instruments were showcased by talented pupils of the school.

The showcase aptly named I am music, took place on 16 and 17 September and music teachers at the school put in every effort to ensure the symphonic success of the show.

After science teacher Ian Donald had everyone in stiches during his comedic opening speech, pupils took to the stage with violins, cellos, flutes and harps to name a few, where they entertained friends and families with their impeccable talent.

“We have an amazing team,” said music teacher, Ria van Niekerk.

“From the parents who helped us set up the hall, to all the cleaning staff and mostly the other music teachers who put all of this together.

“But most of all, our students were phenomenal,” Van Niekerk continued.

“They are very talented and they always come to the party and simply sparkle on stage. The best thing is that our school supports music like it does by always making it a special priority in the curriculums.”
