The Windsor Local Drug Action Committee organised a clean-up at the park on 20 September. Chairperson Sharon Peters encourages the resident of the community to take back their parks by cleaning the rubbish and debris left behind after vagrant fires, dumping and general littering.
Two parks were part of the clean-up session – Windsor West and Windsor East.
Peters commented, “We are cleaning the west and east parks today because there are many drug addicts and drug dealers who use the park. Therefore, we need to clear up the areas to fight the war against drugs and not allow crime to become rampant.”
