UPDATE: Mall robbery suspects to appear in court
KENSINGTON B – Alleged robbers already made first appearance on 15 September.
The three suspects who were arrested in connection with the iStore / mall robberies have already appeared in the Randburg Magistrates’ Court and the case has been postponed to 22 September.
The men were arrested on 12 September in Tembisa, north east of Joburg by the Hawks Special Investigation Unit. It was confirmed that the tree men are foreign nationals and believed to be part of a syndicate.
The investigation is still ongoing.
According to Apple iStore spokesperson, Nicky Wood, they are not involved in this investigation and therefore cannot provide any comment at this stage.
