Randburg police escort bride

A bride gets an escort of her dreams to her wedding day.

Here comes the bride… escorted by the police.

Megan Ziemski’s dream came true on 30 August, when she was escorted by a police car on her wedding day.

Growing up, Megan always had a passion for the police and military.

With help from her brother and the Randburg Police Station her dream came true on the beautiful day at The Bridge Functions in Muldersdrift.

The bride was driven to the venue in a police car by Captain Brent Kur and Sergeant Mark Bewlay.

Her arrival was in her words, “unbelievably amazing”. The officers helped her fix her dress and then proceeded to escort her over the bridge to the church in their uniforms and rifles.

The guests described the moment as ‘hair raisingly beautiful’.

Megan and her now husband Bart Ziemski thank the Randburg Police for their kindness and keen spirit to help fulfil a young woman’s dream.
