Case against EFF, DA and IFP postponed

CASE against group charged with assault and malicious damage to property postponed to 6 October.

Members of Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) and Democratic Alliance (DA) are united in song and dance outside Randburg Magistrates’ Court on 15 September.

They face charges of public violence during the unrest in Alexandra which occurred in May.

Ntobeng Ntobeng of leadership member of EFF says 70% of their members are innocent.

Three other EFF members argue that they were singing and dancing when they were shot with rubber bullets in May during the local

government elections, in Alexandra township.
