Bridging the business gap

NORTHGATE - The Business Opportunities and Franchise Expo is packed with businesses exhibits at the Dome.

DEPUTY Minister of Small Businesses  Elizabeth Thabethe is going to attend the second day of the Business Opportunities and Franchise Expo (Bofe) at the Dome, in Northgate on 12 September.

 

People from different backgrounds pack the first day of Bofe, where various businesses are exhibiting their services and advising on business opportunities.

This expo is turning 21 this and it is packed with engaging seminars, workshops and different franchise and business opportunities.

The exhibitors range from agriculture to weight loss to Zhauns business opportunities.

Even aspiring young school entrepreneurs are catered for through the Simama Ranta High School Enterprise Competition,which is sponsored by Eskom in partnership with Education With Enterprise Trust.

Haylene Liberty-Nel CEO of Eskom Development Foundation states that one of Bofe’s objectives is to support high school education not in mathematics and science but also in economics and management sciences.

That objective proved fruitful as various schools from different provinces exhibited their products including scarfs, hand crafts and other products.
