Scouts keep park golden

The Adiero Scout Troop cleaned up litter in Golden Harvest Park on 17 August, as part of its required community service. The troop from Randpark Ridge “did a sterling job of the clean-up operation”, said Friends of Golden Harvest Park Committee Member Pippa Wepener. The troop’s scout programme includes spending a certain number of hours performing community service, and they chose to clean the park. Wepener added that Friends of Golden Harvest Park have various projects to help preserve the park and keep it clean and safe for all to use.
