FERNDALE – Three suspects were arrested after a tactical team from CSS Tactical responded to a distress call from a residence in Ferndale on 27 August.
The unit was dispatched immediately, along with multiple back-up units including ‘strike’ team units.
The suspects were arrested within minutes of the CSS team’s arrival. Two suspects were arrested inside the premises, one of them was armed and a third was arrested after the team conducted a search of the area. Two other suspects managed to flee on foot.
A firearm was recovered on scene, as well as the getaway vehicle which was already filled with goods.
The arrestees were handed over to Randburg Police Station.
