Finding a cup of coffee made easier

For many, a good cup of coffee makes a dull day brighten up. Often the difficulty may be finding that one shop that makes it just the way you want it wherever you are.

Frigging Coffee makes it easier to find coffee shops through an App they have been working on over two years.

“We help people find an awesome cup of coffee by helping people make informed decisions,” says Tom Green, founder of Frigging Coffee.

Frigging coffee works out where the user is, and shows the user the closest 25 coffee shops based on their location at the time.

“With about 800 cafés listed in our database in South Africa, we’re sure to find you a cup in most parts of South Africa,” he says.

“If you’re uncertain still about a particular café, you can check up on what other clients think about them through the ratings option provided,” he adds.

The Friggin Coffee idea came about in 2011, when Green was living on the South Coast, and often found himself unable to find a cup of coffee, let alone a decent cup of coffee.

“If you’re a coffee addict like myself, the benefits are immense if you are outside of your comfort zone, or away on business,” he says.

Frigging Coffee offers free registration and use of the search facilities to coffee lovers.

“We also offer free registration for any type of establishment selling coffee – whether it be in cups or bags and / or coffee-related equipment,” commented Green.

Going global is Green’s desire.

“We’ve designed the system with maximum flexibility, and are currently offering it in English, Afrikaans, Portuguese and Thai. We’ve got shops dotted all over the globe,” he says.
