RANDPARK RIDGE – Bright lights, glitz and glamour were the order of the day at Randpark High School on 26 July as they held their annual Mr and Miss Randpark High School pageant.
Young ladies and gentlemen strutted their stuff on the run walk as they modelled for an adoring crowd of friends and family. Contestants first had to model garments of their own creations made from recycled materials. Newspapers appeared to be a hot fashion this season. Thereafter, they wowed the audience with their formal evening attire.
Randpark High School students Christophe Adolphe and Magdalene Kamau were handed the titles of Mr and Miss Rand Park High 2014 at the end of the evening. Dean Walker and Atreya Filipe received the titles of first prince and princess, while Bryce Buitendag and Alli Eagar took the second prince and princess titles.
A few of the other contestants won in a couple of different categories, namely best recycled outfit, photogenic, entrepreneur and best mask.
