Cum Cresta keeps people warm on Mandela Day

CRESTA – Cum Books Cresta gave away about 50 large black bags of clothes, blankets, pillows, jackets and other warm items to the needy on Mandela Day, 18 July.

Four organisations received the donation.

They were Jan Hofmeyer Community Service, Hotel Hope Ministries (home for orphans and pregnant teens), CMR (Christelike Maatskaplike Raad) Linden and Thabang Home for children waiting for Transplants.

“People were so pleased and just very grateful for everything we did for them,” said the store’s manager Marc Coetzee.

“People out there can sleep warm tonight.”
