WINDSOR EAST – Ambassadors 4 Change’s Project 100 featured a street clean-up, soup kitchen, and blanket give-away in Windsor East on Mandela Day, 18 July.

Members of the non-profit organisation and volunteers from debt-collecting company VVM cleaned Beatrice Street, gave away soup and rolls, and handed out 100 blankets to residents and other organisations.

“In the last 10 years we’ve had an influx of people and drugs and no one has stood up to take the bull by the horns,” said Gathel Moyo, the organisation’s founder.

“I believe if people stand with us we can change things.”

The blankets were sponsored by Omnia Fertilizer, Flight Centre, Charity Stores Fontainebleau, Kings.Connect and Windsor Action Group.
