Oasis Haven gets generous donation

ROBIN HILLS – Fontainbleau Charity Stores open their big hearts.

Randburg sure has a lot of heart as the Charity Stores Fontainebleau have proven once more.

Robert Miller of the Charity Stores took a generous donation of blankets, sheeting and towels to the Oasis Haven for orphaned children in Robin Hills on 3 July.

Fundraiser at Oasis Haven, Ivan Achiume, expressed his extreme gratitude for the donation. “This is a true blessing for our children here at the home. It’s wonderful to know that we have such a caring community to help us with our cause.”

According to Miller, they have been able to assist the community with food and blankets “thanks to the fantastic support of our customers and donors. “It’s their contributions … that allow us to continue with our projects to improve our community.”

The Charity Stores Fontainebleau also invites local volunteers to give 67 minutes of their time on Mandela Day, 18 July, to help them clean Fontainebleau Park on Rabie Street. Black bags and gloves will be provided.

“If that’s not up their alley,” continued Miller, “then we challenge residents to spend their 67 minutes decluttering their homes, and then drop off excess and unwanted items at the Charity Stores as a donation to enable us to continue providing support for our community projects.”
