Eid shopping festival at the Dome
NORTHGATE - The Coca-Cola Dome hosted the fourth annual Eid Shopping Festival which was a mix all things amazing.
The fourth annual Eid Shopping Festival offered visitors a shopping experience from different exhibits from June 19 to 22 at the Coca Cola Dome, Northriding.
Festival organiser Isha Steenkamp said the festival took place at the weekend before the holy month of Ramadan and visitors were exposed to exciting displays, great deals, prizes and a top class line-up of entertainment.
“We offered a treasure trove of exclusive garments, ranging from leading designer brands and children’s couture to international fashion lines complemented by catwalk fashion shows,” said Steenkamp.
“A stunning array of Eid gifts, Ramadan treats, exclusive home decor, beauty essentials and mouth-watering cuisine and delicacies were on display,” she added.
Nomsa Zwane, festival spokesperson, said one of the greatest experiences was the fun fair which was set at about 6 000sq m of secured space with pulse-racing rides and a host of activities that kept the children entertained while the parents were shopping.
“This year we proudly launched the ‘Just 4 Guyz Expo’ [as a specialist show within a show] concept. This is the beginning of great ideas for the festival which will be even better next year,” said Zwane.
