Children go to the polls

Children from Seedlings and flowers nursery school in Sundowner took to the polls for their own little election

The children from the higher grade class were taught all about the South African election and taught how important it is to vote and that one day they too could run for government.

All the children had to create their own voting campaign to run for class president and then they took to the polls today to cast their own vote.

This was a fun and educational exercise for the children which not only taught them about the country we live in and current affairs, but that every single person’s voice can make a difference and should be heard.
