The Linden Neighbourhood Watch has urged residents to be on the lookout for two suspicious vehicles that have allegedly been involved in various crimes in the suburb and surrounding areas in recent weeks.
The first is a black VW Golf 5 GTA, containing three or four males, which has been seen scouting areas in and around Linden. They are being sought by several police precincts for motor vehicle theft and hijackings.
The second is a Silver 5 Series BMW (new shape) with four suspects who have been positively linked to a house robbery in Linden Sector 1 two weeks ago. They are also suspected hijackers.
The suspects in both vehicles are armed and dangerous.
Registration numbers are unknown at this stage, and the public is warned to exercise caution if they notice these vehicles and alert Sector 1 patrol vans or their respective security companies immediately.
