Peter Alkema to launch Woodworking For Everyone book
FERNDALE – Book launch on woodwork comes to Randburg.
Would wanna-be woodworkers want to welcome a woodworker demonstrating ways for working wood?
This question arises because woodworker Peter Alkema is hosting a book evening on 21 May at the Hardware Centre, on the corner of Malibongwe Drive and Rocky Street, Ferndale, for the launch of his book Woodworking For Everyone.
At the event, Alkema will discuss the book, which teaches the reader how to complete 13 woodworking projects of varying difficulty, step by step.
The projects include making household furniture such as toy boxes, nursery shelves, school desks, benches, Wendy houses and more.
The book evening starts at 5.30pm and will finish at 7.30pm.
Boerewors rolls will be served, but perspective attendants should RSVP to Alkema for catering purposes.
Attendance is free.
