Droves of suited-up fans made their way to Town Hall in Newtown on 24 April for UK singing sensation John Newman’s sold-out Johannesburg show.
Performing a few of his hits like Losing sleep, Love me again and Cheating, his fans were left awestruck by his sheer talent and stage presence.
Supporting Newman on the Joburg leg of Newman’s South Africa tour, was chart-topping local band, Beatenberg, who certainly got the crowd warmed-up nicely before Newman’s appearance.
In between sets, homegrown DJ Michael Lasar kept the crowd in the swing of things with his old-school take on new-school eletro-funk.
The unique Virgin Mobile SA video booth was there too, and it offered concert-goers the chance to be part of the John Newman live in SA fan music video.
Many Randburg residents attended, and they were – in true Randburg style, of course – dressed to impress.
