A bouncing baby girl

New presenter Angie Ellse is enjoying being a mom.

Netcare Olivedale Hospital’s new year’s baby, Sienna Riley Ellse is doing well with her mother Angie (38) at their home in Douglasdale.

According to Ellse, baby Sienna was born at 8.50pm on 1 January. ”My husband and I had not expected to have her on new year’s, but she was determined on being born that day,” she said

Ellse added she was very happy to be a new mother. ”It may sound very cliché but I really do love my daughter more than anything in this world. I was never the type of women with maternal instincts, but since becoming a mother, I have developed a very strong bond with my daughter and I am very protective of her.”

Although being a mother can be overwhelming for the eNews Channel Africa presenter, she adores Sienna and manages to overcome any difficulty she faces with the help of her husband, domestic helper and the grandparents. ”This is their very first grandchild so they are always keen to spend time with her. Their help will make it easier for me to juggle things when I go back to work.”
